Marion County Sheriff's Department Arrests Man for Nighttime Bur - WBOY.com: Clarksburg, Morgantown: News, Sports, Weather

The Marion County Sheriff's Department arrested a Farmington man on burglary charges Thursday.

Christopher E. Jones, 18, was arrested and charged with nighttime burglary.

Deputies said that Jones showed up at a residence in Idamay in an intoxicated state demanding to see his child.

The resident denied Jones access to his child and a verbal altercation broke out, according to deputies.

When Jones refused to leave the residence, the victim went to a neighbor's residence. The victim eventually returned to the residence, locking the door before Jones could get in.

Jones then attempted to gain entry into the residence, breaking a living room window in the process.

The victim then took the child, left the residence, and went back to a neighbor's residence.

Jones chased the victim to the neighbor's residence, where he was located by deputies.

Jones is currently in the North Central Regional Jail with bail set at $25,000.
