Health care providers said doctors will diagnose one in eight American adults with Alzheimer's by 2020.
Salem Care and Rehab will sponsor an open house Friday as a way to reach out to the community and raise awareness about the disease.
"Think this is probably one of the best kept secrets of our area that we do have a secure Alzheimer's area to but residents hat need 24 hour care and the families can no longer care for them," said Barbara Clutter, of Salem Care & Rehab.
The open house will run from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
