Thanksgiving is just one week away now and families and communities are getting ready for turkey dinner and all the fixings.

But an organization that serves those less fortunate is low on resources this year.

The Clarksburg Mission said it has just 25 of the 200 turkeys it needs for next week's dinner.

"We're kind of a central hub for food and other ingredients this time of year and all of the year," said Lou Ortenzio, of the Clarksburg Mission. "We have an urgent need right now for 200 turkeys by the end of the week."

You can help by dropping of turkeys or monetary donations to the Clarksburg Mission.

The mission will help contribute to the community dinner at the Salvation Army on Thanksgiving Day.

Anyone who shows up for dinner also will get a winter coat.
