State police have arrested an Elkins man on sexual assault charges.

They've charged Lawrence Lipscomb, 36, with first degree sexual assault.

The criminal complaint said a female relative has accused Lipscomb of entering her bedroom and having sex with her.

Lipscomb is in the Tygart Valley Regional Jail with bail set at $50,000.
