The Bridgeport Department of Emergency Service hosted Meet Your Weatherman Thursday night and the folks who went got to meet your weather man, Jason Parrish.
Jason talked extensively about severe winter weather, like last month's super storm. Bridgeport resident Kerry Hess said he learned a lot about getting ready for a storm.
"You learn a lot. How to prepare yourself in different circumstances and its very important to be able to see how to read the weather that they're forecasting so you prepare for it. It's very fascinating," Hess said.
Hess also said he can't wait until Jason's spring presentation so he can learn about severe spring and summer weather.
