The Lost Creek Volunteer Fire Department said a man was taken to the United Hospital on Friday night after flipping his SUV on its side. The driver was the only person involved in the crash.
Officials said the accident happened on Interstate 79 South near mile marker 110 just before 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
The department could not provide the name, age or condition of the victim. The cause of the crash was also unknown.
The West Virginia State Police are investigating the crash. Anmoore EMS also responded.
