NEWELL, W.Va. (AP) — The Homer Laughlin China Co. and union negotiators have agreed on a new three-year contract.

The proposed contract covers more than 800 union workers at the Fiesta dinnerware maker's factory in Newell. The workers are members of the Glass Molders, Pottery, Plastics and Allied Workers International Union Local 419.

Local 419 president Chuck Bartley tells WTOV-TV that negotiators resolved some health insurance issues. He declined to provide details about the contract but said it was a fair deal for all sides.
