The Clarksburg Fire Department is still investigating the cause of an early morning fire on Tuesday at the Kesler and Sons building, near the VA hospital.

Officials said the fire started at about 1:15 a.m.

The building housed a pallet factory, so there was plenty of fuel for the fire, which burned for about nine hours before firefighters extinguished the flames.

The Clarksburg Fire Department said that no one was injured, but the building was a total loss.

Harrison County EMS also responded to the fire.
