The holiday craziness has already started at grocery stores where customers are rushing around; getting everything they'll need for Thanksgiving dinner.

For many retailers though, it's the calm before the storm.

The Meadowbrook Mall will open at 11 p.m. Thursday night for Black Friday shoppers.

It will host a "Rock the Mall Midnight Ball" and give away gift bags and gift cards.

"Staffing," said Marcello Lalama, of the Meadowbrook Mall. "Making sure you have enough people here. Make sure stores can get customers through as quick as possible. Get checked out on their way."
