BRIDGEPORT -

Students with Annabel Timms School of Ballet and Pam's Musical Studio performed in "A Children's Nutcracker" Saturday evening.

The Bridgeport High School Auditorium was filled with people watching the ballet that was first performed nationally in 1892. The performers ranged in age from six to seniors in high school.

For some of the performers, being in The Nutcracker is a tradition.

"Annabel has been doing The Nutcracker for 14 years, since 1997. Some of the original cast members now have their children dancing at our school and in this production, so that's a really neat tradition" said Marcy Mossburg, production staff.

"A Children's Nutcracker" will be performed again Sunday afternoon, at 2:30 p.m. at Bridgeport High School.
