PRESTON COUNTY -

A person is dead following a trailer fire in Preston County.

The incident happened early Saturday morning along Woolen Mills Road, near Albright, officials said.

Bruceton Mills Volunteer Fire Chief Randy Spiker says his department received the call at 4:38 Saturday morning after neighbors saw the home next door in flames.

Spiker said the fire burnt the trailer to the ground.

Inside the home, firefighters found one person in the bathroom. The body has been sent to the State Medical examiner's office for identification.

No cause of the fire has been determined. The State Fire Marshal is investigating.
