For high school students this time of year is prom season, but some students aren't old enough to attend or don't like all the hassle of going to prom. So the Clarksburg Library hosted an anti-prom party on Saturday.

A thrift store in Philippi said it has plenty of business to help families this holiday season.
The Hope's Mission Thrift Store is reducing its hours but staff said it's been blessed with a lot of clothing donations.
The store said it's rapidly filling up what storage space they have and that it's a great problem to have, to help others before the Christmas season.
"We have a real good selection in the store," said Haymond Moore, of the Hope's Mission Thrift Store. "It just makes a better Christmas for them, because they have more money left over, but still they've provided for their family and have gifts and so forth."
The Hope's Mission Thrift Store will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays and from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays.
