BRIDGEPORT -

The FBI Citizens Academy held its graduation ceremony Tuesday evening at the Bridgeport Conference Center.

The academy graduated 21 men and women, who celebrated with a dinner at the event.

Graduate Jay Cole was chosen as the speaker for his class and spoke about the influence the FBI has on the community.

"What a wonderful opportunity for people in this community to learn more about this amazing facility and these extraordinary people who live and work in our midst, and the incredible work they do on behalf of our country. I was really honored to have the chance to speak on behalf of the class because I think we all felt the same way, so grateful, so impressed, so proud of the fact that these people and this facility is right here in our own backyard," Cole said.

The guest speaker at the event was John Miller, who is the only man to ever get an interview with Osama Bin Laden. Miller has also worked with the FBI.
