The National White Collar Crime Center has more than 4,000 member agencies in the United States and one of them is in Grafton.

The Taylor County Sheriff's Department has joined forces with the NW3C.

Its mission is to provide training, investigative support, and research to agencies looking into high tech and economic crime.

"It's a great resource. We can submit what we are working on, goes into a huge data base," said Chief Deputy Terring Skinner, of the Taylor County Sheriff's Department. "It helps you identify trends, scams that are going on, and it helps to alerts law enforcement and the public as to what's occurring."

The National White Collar Crime Center also works with the FBI, the Justice Department, and the National Sheriff's Association.
