The Valley Falls State Park Foundation is hoping to raise funds to become a recognized non profit organization.

The foundation aims to solicit and receive contributions and grants in support of Valley Falls State Park.

The foundation has been recognized by the State of West Virginia but was never registered with the IRS.

The foundation is currently raising funds to obtain a 501C3 status from the IRS.

The title will allow it to receive additional funding from the state for future projects.
