MORGANTOWN -

A new hot spot for pizza in Morgantown is PeppeBroni's, a place that gives you not one, two, or three types of pepperoni, but four types on its trademark pizza.

"The normal regular classic pepperoni that you would get on a pizza, we also have a margarita, that's got a different spice to it, nice when you want to mix it up a bit. We've got the deli style pepperoni that you would get on a sandwich, jumbo slices. And then like I said fried pepperoni," said pizza shop employee Donald Platt.

The PeppeBroni pizza may be the shop's trademark, but close to it is the bang you get for your buck.

Their New York style hand-tossed pizzas are big and start at just $6.

"Our small pizza is a 14-inch pizza," said Platt. "At most chair restaurants that would be their large pizza, all the way up to our 16-inch medium and 18-inch large."

"You definitely get more your buck here. It just beats the prices out of any ware," said John Murray a customer.

Not hungry for pizza? Not a problem. French fries, wings, hoagies and calzones are just a few more reasons customers stop by.

"Oh, I'll come back here every day," said Murray, a man who say PeppeBroni's house wing sauce is the best in town. "I'm constantly here. If I get tired of eating a little pizza, they've got subs, salads… "I've eaten everything they have here. I've never been disappointed at all."

PeppeBroni's has been around for less than a year but it is growing. At the heart of its success are traditional ties to the "Original Pizzeria." Its passed down recipes are the base for PeppeBroni's new ideas and tastes.

"These guys spend hours and hours and hours tweaking recipes. We're still constantly changing things, constantly tasting things. Asking people what we should do," said Platt. "We really want to put the best possible product that's out there and not too many people put in that kind of effort to what they want to do."

"It's something that you have to try," said customer Scott Rhine. "Not everyone has been out here, it's not exactly in the middle of campus but it's definitely one of the pizza places worth driving to check out."

PeppeBroni's is located on Chestnut Ridge Road in Morgantown. If you stop by, bring your new or old WVU ID for their $5 14-inch pizza deal.
