Volunteers said the problem began when Monongalia County condensed the committees overseeing the park into one.
The U.S. Marshals Service and Mountain State Fugitive Task Force officers arrested an Illinois man who was wanted for murder in Blue Island, IL.
U.S. Deputy Marshals arrested Lance Earls, 26, at the Westover Econolodge at 5 p.m. Wednesday, according to a news release from Supervisory Deputy U.S. Marshal Alex Neville.
Earls was involved in a home invasion which resulted in the murder of the person in the home, according to Blue Island Police Department investigators.
Earls is being held in North Central Regional Jail, pending extradition to IL.
