WESTOVER -
Summer Breeze Heating and Air has made a donation to the Morgantown and Fairmont Disabled American Veterans.
Owners Rick and Dan Hensen raffled off a new heating and air conditioning system.
They raised $4,000 and donated the money and a roof mounted air conditioning system to the Westover VFW.
Veterans said it is nice to have people thinking about them.
"It's a tremendous amount," said DAV Chapter 45 Veteran George Davis. "The only way we can survive is by donations. We don't have any other way of raising money. Usually our forget me not sales or people that just make donations and those are few and far between during the year."
The Hensen's said they are more then happy to help.
"We try to do whatever we can for the community," said Rick Hensen. "We are a small company but we are a proud company. Whatever we can do for our community, our veterans. Our veterans have done a lot of us."
Summer Breeze plans to raffle off a new generator in the spring and another heating and air conditioning system next fall.
