Students in the Marion County Vocational School criminal justice program participated in a 'Mock Trial' Friday.

Marion County Judge Michael Aloi opened his courtroom for the mock first-degree murder trial.

Vocational School teacher Ray Frazier prepared his students by teaching them about the legal process.

Students acted as jurors, lawyers, defendants and witnesses.

Aloi said it is a great way for students to learn what really happens in a courtroom.
