PRESTON COUNTY -

Arthurdale Heritage is hosting a three-day Festival of Trees celebration this weekend. The event started Friday night with the bidding of trees and wreaths.

Arthurdale Heritage is a museum that helps preserve Eleanor Roosevelt's New Deal Community.

All proceeds from the event get donated straight to the museum.

"This Festival is really the only one we have in the museums so it's nice to bring people in to see what we have," said Sarah Barnes, president of the Board of Directors at Arthurdale Heritage, "in addition to looking at all the pretty Christmas stuff and getting to know Arthurdale a little better."

The event continues Saturday with a one-day Christmas market. Stained glass and antiques will be sold, along with getting pictures with Santa and hay rides.
