A multi-vehicle accident slowed traffic on Route 50 Friday evening.
It happened just after 7:30 p.m. near Emily Drive in Clarksburg.
The Clarksburg Police Department said a vehicle heading eastbound suddenly slammed on its brakes causing a chain reaction. Police said at least four vehicles were involved.
Harrison County EMS transported two people to UHC. Their names and conditions are not being released at this time.
The Clarksburg Fire Department also responded to the crash.
