MORGANTOWN -
The Morgantown Police Department is investigating a stabbing.
It happened just after midnight Sunday on Van Voorhis Road.
Police said a disturbance led to Nicholas Ashley, 24, receiving a stab wound to the abdomen.
Ashley is a WVU student, and did make it on his own to Ruby Memorial Hospital.
The suspect fled on foot.
Ashley's condition is unknown at this time.
The incident is still under investigation.
