BRIDGEPORT -
Bridgeport City Council met Monday evening, and development in the city was on the agenda.
Council discussed the city's comprehensive plan and got an update on a new grocery store on Main Street. Several new developments are coming along at Charles Pointe and White Oak as well.
"Of course, out at Charles Pointe they have the strip mall going in there, with several restaurants and specialty shops. Over at White Oak, you have several hotels that plan on going in, one currently under construction. Sheetz is planning a gas station there too," said John Stogran, Bridgeport Development Authority President.
The Bridgeport City Council will hold a special meeting Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. to discuss further development.
