BRIDGEPORT -

Bridgeport City Council held a special meeting Tuesday evening.  Mayor James Christie said council members would be discussing new development opportunities, and the meeting went right into an executive session.

"We have a number of developers and prospects who would like to locate to the area, who at this point in time, do not want their names to be disclosed. There are some things that could be very substantial for the Bridgeport and Harrison County area" Christie said.

Representative from Charles Pointe were in attendance.  Mayor Christie said the public will learn about the new developments in the near future.
