The field of candidates for the upcoming municipal election in Elkins is set.

Voters will elect a mayor, one councilman each, from Wards One through Four, and two councilmen from Ward Five.

Incumbent Mayor Duke Talbott will face challengers Van Broughton and Mark Scott.

Ward One incumbent Charles Kinnison will face challenger Lonnie Randall.

Mitch Marstiller and incumbent Carman Metheny are running for Wards Two and Three.

Ward Four Incumbent Nanci Fregonara will face off against Hollis Vance.

And incumbents Jim Bibey and Joe Sabatino are running for reelection in the Fifth Ward.

The election is March 5.
