PARKERSBURG, WV -

Waltrina Dufor, formerly the program lead and assistant professor of higher education at Argosy University Atlanta, recently joined West Virginia University-Parkersburg as the interim dean of academic affairs.

Dufor earned her bachelor's degree from Pennsylvania State University, a master's degree from Misericordia University and a doctorate of philosophy in higher education from Indiana State University. 

She has spent most of her professional career in higher education, working primarily with private Christian, private historically black colleges, and for-profit schools. 

Dufor is a member of the Association for the Study of Higher Education, Sisters of the Academy and Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority.
