The City of Clarksburg will hold its second annual "Christmas in the Park" Saturday at Veterans Memorial Park.
The Riverbend holiday mini-golf will be open from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Other family-friendly activities also will be available. Event organizers said they are expecting a visit from a very special guest.
"Santa is gonna make a special appearance," said Donna Abbott, recreation coordinator with City Parks of Clarksburg. "You will be able to play mini-golf with Santa, have cookies and cocoa with Santa and have your picture taken with Santa."
The city said "Christmas in the Park" will happen rain or shine. The event itself is free, but it will cost kids $1 and adults $2, to play mini-golf. Mini-golf will also be open Saturday, December 15 and 22 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m.
