A Lewis County attraction will kick off its Christmas season Friday.
Jackson's Mill will kick off its annual Winter Lights festival with luminaries and a tree lighting, Friday at Saturday night.
The event will include a holiday buffet on both days.
The Mill is expanding the event this year to include a craft show.
Organizers said they want to remind people to slow down and enjoy the season.
"It wasn't the hustle and bustle of shopping so much as it was family time during the holiday season, and by doing the white lights the simple white lights here it's to get people slow down and take a breath," said Dean Hardman, of Jackson's Mill.
