Upshur County residents of all ages lined the streets of Buckhannon on Friday for the city's annual Christmas parade.
The parade started at 7:00 p.m. at Jawbone Park and featured local fire departments, music, and street performances. Santa Claus made an appearance, as did our very own Jeff Schrock.
Shops in downtown Buckhannon stayed open late and decorated their windows to share the holiday spirit.
The procession ended at the volunteer fire department, where children sat on Santa's lap. Residents also enjoyed hot cocoa and cookies.
