The United Way of Marion County held a Community Service Central Monday at the Middletown Mall in White Hall.

The event shows off the many service providers in Marion County.

The expo was open to anyone who is struggling to make ends meet.

The Marion County Transit Authority provided free bus rides for the event in hopes of bringing in more people from the community.

The center provided visitors with services that can help get them get back on their feet, during difficult times.

Dozens of United Way agencies set up information booths promoting their services.

"We have everything from child abuse agencies to food pantries," said Tiffany Samuels, of the United Way of Marion County. "We have agencies that can provide assistance through utilities, housing assistance, a full gamut."

If you missed the event, you can contact the United Way for more information by calling 304-366-4550 or visit www.uwmarion.org.
