The City of Mannington has taken on a project that aims to honor the Veteran's who gave their lives in the Vietnam War.
Over the past few months officials have been working to add a new memorial to the city.
It is located just off of Mead Avenue and Water Street.
The names of two Mannington Veterans who were killed in the line of duty will be placed in stone in the memorial.
Mannington Mayor Robert Garcia expects the memorial to be complete in the upcoming months.
