Over the past few months, the Union Mission in Fairmont has been collecting winter coats for those in need.
Beginning next week, the Mission will begin to distribute those coats to the public.
The Marion County community and businesses like PDC Energy in Bridgeport have contributed to the cause.
Mission Director George Batten said the doors are open to anyone who needs a coat free of charge.
The mission is even providing a little something extra to keep you warm this winter.
"We found some clothing that we can give away," Batten said. "Brand new clothing that has been donated and we are going to be able to give that away. It will make all the difference in the world. It's more then a coat drive, it's clothing."
The coat drive will take place Tuesday December 18 and Wednesday December 19 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. in the mission auditorium.
