MORGANTOWN -

Pet Helpers' adoption day took place at Petco in the University Towne Center in Morgantown on Saturday.

It brought out about 25 dogs and a few cats but have more than 50 animals in its care that need to find homes this holiday season.

Pet Helpers said it has plenty of animals to choose from including mutts and purebreds.

"If you see a dog that you like and you want to meet it you just contact us. We make arrangements for the foster to bring the dog to you or meet you somewhere so you can see the dog in person, or the cat, I don't want to forget about the cats," said Terri Tichenor, Pet Helpers' President. "So we make every effort that if you want to take a look at one of our animals we will make arrangements to make that happen."
