Harrison County 911 officials said the two vehicles hit head on, on Adamsville Road near Shinnston, just before 8 p.m.

WILSONBURG -

The Harrison County Sheriff's Department said a male and a female were taken to the United Hospital Center on Sunday night after the car they were traveling in went off the road.

The incident happened just before 9:15 p.m. on Wilsonburg Road in Wilsonburg.

The department said injuries appeared non-life-threatening but could not provide any more details on those injuries.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation. The Sheriff's Department is investigating.
