My Kitchen in Morgantown offers hands-on cooking classes for the public.
Classes range from soups to pie and hors d'oeuvres were on the menu Sunday night for holiday parties.
Owner and chef Chris Hall said the class has many advantages.
"I'm set up here to walk everybody through seven or eight to 10 recipes depending how many people are here. And then when they leave they know how to make those things" said Hall.
Hall tries to have a class almost every day of the week.
