Davis and Elkins College will hold its first Halliehurst Ball on New Year's Eve with food, drinks, and a champagne favor for the New Year.
Organizers said they want to provide a different kind of event for the Elkins community.
"This is an event for all," said Scott Goddard, of Davis and Elkins College. "We hope that members of the college community come out, faculty and staff, but then also folks from the Elkins community to celebrate New Year's Eve."
The event will wrap up with breakfast just after midnight on January 1.
