Pittsburgh Resident Pleads Guilty in Clarksburg District Court

A Pittsburgh, Pa., resident pleaded guilty before Magistrate John S. Kaull on December 12 in U.S. District Court in Clarksburg, according to a news release from the office of the U.S. Attorney Northern District of W.Va.

Deaundre Hall, 23, pleaded guilty to distribution of crack cocaine within 1,000 feet of Stealey Park Playground on July 26, 2011, officials said.

Hall is currently free on bond pending sentencing and faces at least one and up to 40 years in prison and a $2 million fine.

This case was prosecuted by Criminal Chief Shawn A. Morgan and was investigated by the Harrison County Drug Task Force, consisting of officer from the Clarksburg and Bridgeport Police Departments and the Harrison County Sheriff's Department.
