
A Clarksburg man pleaded guilty before Judge Irene M. Keeley on December 7 in U.S. District Court in Clarksburg, according to a news release from the office of the U.S. Northern District of W.Va.
TyQuay Williams, 20, pleaded guilty to distribution of crack cocaine within 1,000 feet of Monticello Avenue Park Playground on March 5, 2012, officials said.
Williams is currently free on bond pending sentencing and faces up to 40 years in prison and a $2 million fine, according to the news release.
This case was prosecuted by Criminal Chief Shawn A. Morgan and was investigated by the Harrison County Drug Task Force, consisting of officers from the Clarksburg and Bridgeport Police Departments and the Harrison County Sheriff's Department.
