The Department of Homeland Security has given the Salem Police Department a sub-grant in the amount of $25,000.

On Tuesday, authorities in Harrison County arrested a man accused of sexually assaulting a child.
Christopher Wilson, 25 of Clarksburg, faces two counts of second degree sexual assault, two counts of sexual abuse, and two counts of incest.
The Clarksburg Police Department said Wilson assaulted a child on two separate occasions earlier this year. It said he threatened to hurt the child if anyone found out.
Wilson is in North Central Regional Jail with bail set at $120,000.
