The city of Buckhannon said construction on waterlines for the new armory off Brushy Fork Road can now resume.
Buckhannon was ready to install the waterlines but the land designated for the lines was identified as a potential site of Native American artifacts.
City Engineer Jay Hollen said a Phase One archaeological study failed to turn up any artifacts.
He will send a letter detailing the study's findings to the State Historical Preservation Office.
