Dominion Foundation Donates Nearly $50,000 to Local Food Banks

    Municipal elections in Salem and Clarksburg are upon us, and voters are getting the chance to meet the candidates.
    Municipal elections in Salem and Clarksburg are upon us, and voters are getting the chance to meet the candidates.

The Dominion Foundation has donated nearly $50,000 to local food banks.

It presented the Clarksburg Mission with a check for $5,000 Thursday afternoon.

It also has donated to the Soup Opera in Fairmont, the Salvation Army in Morgantown, Our Neighbor in Weston, and the Mountaineer Food Bank in Gassaway.

The Dominion Foundation has donated more than $400,000 to non profits that provide food, shelter, and medical care this year alone.
