After the shootings in Connecticut last week, a local firearms company is seeing greater concern for their products.

Blackheart International said they've been fielding more calls since the incident from people looking at products.

Many are worried about what any new gun control laws may restrict to try and make the nation safer.

Blackheart said the best way to do that is to teach people how to safely use those weapons.

Ernst said his heart goes out to the victims in Connecticut and wants to be sure people are well-trained to help keep gun violence down.
