Substance Abuse was the focus of a town hall meeting Thursday in Buckhannon.
City, county leaders, and local middle schoolers discussed a project they've been working on: a mock drug-related death.
Officials said no community is exempt from substance abuse.
"We love our community here in Upshur County. We know were not exempt from having substance abuse issues, but as a community we want to come together and tackle those issues together," said Joyce Harris Thacker, Upshur County Family Resource Network.
Questions and issues raised at the meeting will be addressed at another meeting scheduled for the Spring.
