Grafton High School Students Get in the Holiday Spirit

Posted: Updated:

Students in Taylor County are officially on holiday break, but many of them were already in the holiday spirit to give their grades a boost.

Students in Grafton High School's bakeshop and pro start classes made gingerbread houses as part of their final grade.

Students worked in groups and had two weeks to complete the project. They said it was stressful, but it got them in the holiday spirit.

"Most kids love making gingerbread houses. It's something I like to do, and I think it makes everyone happy," said senior Alexis Chambers.

Grafton students will return to class Wednesday, January 2.
