People across Ritchie County, West Virginia, and the United States made a point to send Christmas cards to a man in Ellenboro who is fighting stage four lung cancer.
Jack Reed was diagnosed with the disease in November. The community teamed up to fill his mailbox for Christmas. Reed received 1,592 cards as of December 26th. Organizers of the card collection encourage the community to send cards through January 31.
