Thursday was Customer Appreciation Day at the Chick-fil-A on Emily Drive in Clarksburg.

Everyone who made a purchase received a special green receipt.

They can bring those receipts back anytime in January and get the same thing they bought on Thursday for free.

"I owned the Chick-fil-A at the mall before I had this one, so I've been in the town for seven years now." said owner Brandie Wehner. "Honestly, the more you give, the more you get, and we find that the more we've been able to give away, donate to other places, and give to other customers, they give back. So that was our thought process behind it."

Customers could take advantage of it until 10:00 p.m.
