Stores in the Meadowbrook Mall are trying to get rid of their holiday and winter merchandise by holding sales as large as 75% off.

Shoppers took advantage of these deals and some long lines were forming.

Hickory Farms was having a 75% off everything sale, and one employee said they had steady business all day because of it.

"We have been non-stop since 10:00 this morning. We have very few items left. We had some large items that originally sold for $69.50 that went today for $17.34. Completely sold out of those" said Maxine McCarty with Hickory Farms.

McCarty said Saturday was the last day for Hickory Farms to be open in the mall.
