Trooper M. J. Wilson of the Elkins Detachment of the State Police and Deputy D. L. Vanmeter of the Randolph County Sheriff's Department arrested five people for manufacturing or delivery of a controlled substance and operation or the attempt to operate a methamphetamine lab.

Wilson and Vanmeter went to Wilson Street in the city of Elkins in reference to an arrest warrant service.

Police noticed materials used to make methamphetamines once they entered the house.

Michael Bennington, 31, of Buckhannon, Brian Hammer, 51, Angela Miller, 44, Phillip Moyers, 28 and Barbara Spiva, 47 all of Elkins, are at the Tygart Valley Regional Jail.

Bail is set for each offender at $50,000.
