MORGANTOWN -

The Ronald McDonald House Charities in Morgantown will host a Candlelight Countdown New Year's Eve bash at the Waterfront Hotel on Dec. 31.

Packages for the event start at basic attendance to the party, and go up to a night stay at the hotel and includes breakfast the next morning.

The event will benefit the Ronald McDonald House Living Room that is being built at Ruby Memorial Hospital.

"Well you can start off the new year right by giving back. We're in the process of trying to open this family room which will help out a ton of families, and it will be open to families here in Morgantown as well," said Katie Wertz, marketing associate at the Ronald McDonald House. "It's going to be a really great party. In the past our events have been really informational and we just want this to be a party where people can come and enjoy themselves."

If you're interested in going to the event there are plenty of tickets left.

The tickets start at $50 and end at $229.

Call the Ronald McDonald House at 304-598-0050 or RMHCmorgantown.org and purchase tickets online.
