A Preston County man accused of stealing chainsaws will face a grand jury.
Michael Lowdermilk was in magistrate court Thursday.
According to a criminal complaint, he is accused of stealing chainsaws from a home in Newburg.
A second man named in the complaint told the Preston County Sheriff's Department that he drove Lowdermilk to the home and attempted to sell the chainsaws for him.
In a second case, prosecuting attorney Mel Snyder said Lowdermilk was accused of receiving stolen property in relation to a stolen vehicle in Pennsylvania. Mel Snyder said that charge was dismissed.
Lowdermilk is currently in the Tygart Valley Regional Jail with bail set at $25,000.
